Enrollment Review and Financial Aid Adjustments at TSU

Enrollment status at Texas Southern University (TSU) is reviewed on the official census date at the beginning of each term to determine if you are full-time, three-quarter-time, or half-time. If your total enrollment falls below the full-time requirement, your cost of attendance will be adjusted accordingly on the census date. This adjustment may lead to the return or cancellation of financial aid.

Official Census Dates:

• 12th class day for fall and spring terms
• 4th class day of the second part of the summer term for students attending the entire summer term

If an aid adjustment results in a balance owed to the university, you must repay the balance or make payment arrangements within 14 working days. Failure to do so may result in being reported to the U.S. Department of Education as owing a refund to Title IV programs, rendering you ineligible for further aid until the balance is settled.
